He said he must build a house and have XYZ before committing to any serious relationship.
Whatever it is, he is not ready to commit.
2. He’s scared of commitment

Some guys are afraid of commitment.
So even when they like you and think you’re the girl of their dreams, they’d still let you go.

I’ve always said that when someone says you’re not good enough for them, they’re not good enough for you.
Stop trying to be with someone who doesn’t want to be with you.
So don’t ever feel bad because someone thinks you’re not good enough for them.
Instead, please take it as a chance to find someone who thinks you’re enough for them and vice versa.
And your ex (well, he’s going to be your ex) can go be with the girl he thinks is good enough for him.
8. He hasn’t moved on from his past relationships
Sometimes when someone says they don’t see a future with you, it’s because they still have baggage from past relationships.
It’s likely your guy hasn’t moved on from his last relationship.
